Rural Development in the South of Litani

Activities conducted in 2010 and 2011 at the four “Pilot Orchards” part of the project, located in Yareen Ain Ebel, Kafarkela and Hasbaya:

 

  Pruning the olive trees
  Spraying of copper oxychloride due to the severe damage by the peacock spot
  Plowing
  Spreading of ammonium sulfate
  Monitoring Yellow sticky traps
  Spraying foliar fertilizer
  Checking the results of the veccia and barley. Cutting the veccia and barley.
Removing weeds.
Regular visits to the orchards to check their situation and needs.
