Total Number of Beneficiaries 99 farmers from the 9 following villages:
Ain Yaacoub, Bazbina, Beino, Borj Al Arab, Denbou, Halba, Kabiit, Machhaand Majdlaya
10 Field Visits and onsite trainings:
Total Number of Beneficiaries 47 farmers from the following 7 villages:
Andkit, Aydamoun, Bayt Mellat, Bazbin, Halba, Klayaat and Kobayat.
Assessment was done and Breeders' Sheets collected for 42 breeders from 7 villages
Field Visits to 4 small scale dairy units:
The 4 units visited are: Al Dilbi Dairy in Kobayat, Tekrit Cooperative in Tekrit, Al Rayan Industry in Halba and North Dairy Foundation in Meryata
Milk tests:
Tests were conducted for samples collected from 30 farmers from 8 villages
Milk collected:
30, 511 Kg of milk was collected from 50 growers; bought at 800 LBP / Kg.
Dairy Manual:
The dairy manual is a useful tool for the dairy processing units describing the overall milk chain from farm to end products.
Building requirements, Technical processing steps, hygiene basics, main hazards, General overview on HACCP system are the main topics of the manual. It is written in Arabic language and illustrated in a simplified way easy to be applied directly by the manufacturers.
1,000 copies were printed and distributed to farmers, processors and small dairy units industrialists in the North region.

Overall, 151 breeders have benefited from one or different activities allowing them to enhance the quality of their dairy produce and increase their income.
Breeders adopt new methodology, showed increased income and thus improvement of their living conditions proving the success of the project.
Distribution of Dairy manual will be of greater importance to beneficiaries who will be about 500 to 1,000.
