The LEAD Program

Students clubs activities -
Photos from an activity held by the Environmental, Health and Population club, in the Barja Intermediary School for Girls, in May 2008:

Students part of the club
cooked healthy food and sandwiches

What they cocked and prepared was
sold to other students

Thus, a healthy food shop was set at the school

The students followed the standards of personal hygiene:
they wore gloves while distributing and selling the food.

Those students had followed the nutrition sessions
that were conducted by the LEAD Program

Fresh orange and carrot juice was also available

Money was collected in cash boxes

Educational posters were put on display

All were happily enjoying healthy food
