Post-war 2006 rehabilitation projects undertaken by RMF

The war on Lebanon in the months of July-August 2006 brought enormous destruction to villages in various regions of Lebanon. Not only did the bombardments heavily affect infrastructure and residential areas, but it also brought huge losses to the economy in the regions.

During the war period, RMF along with other NGOs and organizations dedicated its efforts to bring immediate support to the displaced population (see war relief activities). After the military actions stopped, RMF wished to concentrate its efforts into providing long lasting support to the war affected citizens, especially those residing in underpriviledged areas and facing difficult economical conditions even before the war. The condition of many was deplorable, lacking any savings to restart a business or make a new investment.

Here are the post-war rehabilitation projects undertaken by RMF from November 2006 onwards: (click on project to learn more)
