The RWIGAT project - workshops
RURAL WOMEN INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITIES AND TRAINING PROGRAMS

RWIGAT LogoUnder the RWIGAT project, as part of the capacity building program, 24 different workshops and trainings for rural women on various topics were between December 2004 and August 2005.

The workshops were held in 5 locations (Marjeyoun, Tyr, Mejdlaya, Zahlé and Ashrafieh) covering the 5 main regions of Lebanon. An average of 25 beneficiaries attend each workshop.

In Tyr, the workshops were held at the 'Centre Agricole du Sud' (CASUR); in Mejdlaya, at the RMF's Agricultural Center of the North (CAN); and in Ashrafieh (for the Mount Lebanon region), at RMF's main headquarters.
