The Children Nursery

RMF opened the L'Etoile du Nord nursery with the support of the Spanish Agency of International Development and the Fundación Promoción Social de la Cultura (FPSC).

The nursery targets children aged 1 to 3. It is located near the Agricultural Center of the North in Mejdlaya, and is equipped with new attractive and modern equipment, and educational toys and games.

The premises cover about 300 square meters and are divided as following: four large classrooms, two administrative offices, two large indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a dining hall, a medical dispensary and common space.

For the 2007/2008 school-term the nursery is functioning with its full capacity. A total of 54 children for child nursery and 1st and 2nd kintergarden years were divided in the 5 classrooms. The hours of the nursery are 8am to 1:30pm.

Other objectives for the project included:
Developing activities designed to enhance young children life skills
Creating educational tools
Promoting permanent training to kinder garden's educators.
