Objectives
Immediate objectives
Establish 6 partnerships between 12 high schools in Jordan, Lebanon and Denmark with a continuing cooperation and dialogue beyond the project period.
Improve the skills of teachers in 12 schools on intercultural communication, the use of social media in teaching and student involvement.
Facilitate the development of joint teaching activities including students' participation in intercultural communication and dialogue.
Support the development of the students' awareness of global challenges and possibilities.
Development objectives
Enhance young peoples' active participation in their society by creating interest in global challenges, extending their network and knowledge of new media platforms.
Create an understanding among Danish and Arabic youth of being part of the same interconnected global society.
Raise culture and conflict awareness in the area of education in Denmark and The Middle East.
Activities
The activities that will be organized under this project are as follows:
1- Organize Training workshop for the 4 targeted schools on the techniques for initiating joint curriculum activities and cultural dialogue through blogs.
2- Organize joint curriculum activities between the Lebanese targeted schools and the Danish schools.
3- Organize visits of Danish teachers to Lebanon and vice versa.
