Center for Information and Communication Technology

The RMF began offering computer training courses in 2001, focusing on providing basic skills to those living in rural areas. In 2002, an ICT center with 24 computers was created within the Youth Community Center building.

The goal of the Center is to provide access to computers and computer training to improve the employment opportunities of youth while offering access to the latest technologies to those living in semi-rural areas.
The center offers basic and advanced computer training as well as access to the Internet and professional software. An example of some of the advanced training courses are website design and development and electronic animation techniques.
The center will include a Cyber Café where youth can gather and meet to socialize, discuss various issues, share expertise and knowledge, learn from each other and, most importantly, enhance their computer and technological skills.
