Summary: |
Organized in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, the two-day resident workshop brought together 22 university students and local NGO members who came from all over Lebanon. Dr. Steffan Melnik, European senior trainer on political participation, discussed the different levels of participation and their constraints on the Lebanese context. He emphasized the development of meaningful participation and the importance of influencing the electoral system to transmit the Mission of change. The working groups at the event were facilitated by Ms Damia Moawad, Mrs Rania Zakhia and Mr Christopher Politis. |
