This workshop was held by the RMF with the collaboration of the High Council for Children (Ministry of Social Affairs), the Association of Human Action for the Eradication of Illiteracy and the Associazione Ricreativa Culturale Italiana (ARCI).

The workshop included a presentation of the social and professional realities facing illiterate children and the psychological and physical effects that they have on the children. The purpose of the discussions at the workshop was to come up with the best system of education that specialists dealing with children should follow to best help the children.
