The event was organized by the friends of the RMF - USA.

The master of ceremonies was Mr. Vincent Battle former US ambassador in Beirut, the keynote speaker was Her Excellency Nayla Moawad, Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs, and the event honored Mr. Richard Chidiac, former CEO/ALSAC St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.

More than 415 personalities and guests attended the event. They included american and arab diplomats, officials from the US Administration, the White House and USAID. Among the distinguished personalities present were the president of the World Bank, Mr Paul Wolfowitz, ex-spanish minister Mrs Ana Palacio, US vice-president advisor Mr Michael Perry, Mr Gamal Helal, Mr Robert Danin, Mr Chris Ross, Mr Punteet Talwat, Mrs Sera Beran, ect.

CHF-INT donated 2 Million USD, to support its economical expansion projects for rural regions in Lebanon, to be implimented by RMF in the coming 2 years.

The event featured a fashion show by lebanese designer Gemy Maalouf and a book signing ceremony of award winning Lebanese author Karim Al Koussa.

A first annual gala dinner was also held in Miami, on 18 March 2006.
