How to use the REACT Training Manual?

Summary:

This training workshop for facilitators was organized by the RMF in partnership with Club des Etudiants. It was attended by 21 young men and women participants from the Chouf, Beirut, Tyr, Nabatiyye, Tripoli, Akkar and Jbeil and was conducted by Miss Dounia Bassil and Miss Yasmine Abou Mansour, from RMF.

•  Practical training on animation techniques:
Practical exercises were made to understand better the different activities presented in the Manual and how to lead the clubs sessions.

•  Launching REACT (new school year):
How to use the theoretical part of the Manual in order to meet the objectives set by the project, planning the Clubs meetings, material distribution, contracts etc.

This workshop was part of the Raising Awareness on Human Rights and Democracy among Youth project being implemented by the RMF and Club des Etudiants to raise awareness among youth on human rights, citizenship, and democracy through the creation of REACT (Rights Education and Awareness for Children and Teens) clubs in schools throughout Lebanon. This project is one of the 16 projects forming the Afkar program that is funded by the European Union and administered by the Office of the Ministry of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR).
