This outdoor activity was prepared under the umbrella of the ACCESS-MENA project and was made possible thanks to the support of the private sector and especially the ' Skygate Beirut Balloon ' company, which manages the hot-air balloon, and Burger King. The 40 children that participated are from the areas of Bourj Hammoud and Bab Al Tebbaneh, Tripoli . They are part of the Year Two activities of the ACCESS-MENA project, under the vocational training sessions, literacy sessions or even remedial and school support program. The ride inside the hot air-balloon was about 15 minutes. It offered the excited children the chance to discover Beirut and its neighborhood from a height of 150 meters, and enjoy the beautiful views and a unique experience. After the rides, the children stayed in the green zone around the balloon. They played several games including a song competition and danced. The outing ended at Burger King in Furn al Chebbak where an iftar was served to all the children.
