Under the ACCESS-MENA project, five central workshops on Awareness for community leaders were conducted in the five targeted regions as follows:
On April 4 in Saida, on April 6 in Nabatieh, on April 11 in Tripoli , on April 12 in Beirut and on April 20 in Wadi Khaled.

Around 200 participants were present at the workshops, amongst which two presidents of municipalities. All the participants were from community based associations, local NGOs, representatives from different municipalities and Ministry of Social Affairs centers.

Committees have been formed in every region in order to carry out the planned number of the consecutive meetings which will be moderated by one of the community leaders with the follow up of the field officers.

Prior to the workshops, 20 focus group discussions have already been implemented: 6 in Saida, 7 in Wadi Khaled, 3 in Nabatieh, 1 in Tripoli and 3 in Beirut.
