This training workshop, part of the CEDARS-plus program, was conducted by Dr Issam Bashour from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and followed by a field visit to the forage demo plot in Chaloutieh.

In the morning Dr Bashour carried out a technical training for the Engineer Mr. Baker Naim and to Mr. Walid Mitri the president of Tall Abbass Coop.

Later in the afternoon, a total number of 50 participants attended the training during which the following matters were discussed: the environmental requirements for corn fertilization, the importance of soil analysis before corn plantation, land preparation and plantation spacing.
