Those two workshops were held as part of the ACCESS-MENA project. They took place at the Madisson Hotel in Jounieh.

The workshop held on 17-19 November was for teachers and social workers from the South region, and the one held on 1-3 December was for teachers and social workers from the Beirut and North regions.

The goal of the workshops was to train literacy teachers and social workers on specific literacy techniques .

Around 40 teachers and social workers benefited from the workshops. All the participants were from the partner NGOs and are directly related to the children enrolled in ACCESS-MENA project. The participants were from the North ( Tripoli , Akkar and Wadi Khaled), Beirut (Borj Hammoud and Sin el Fil) and from the South (Saida and Nabatieh).

The workshops were in partnership with the National Literacy Committee and where facilitated by Mr. Mohamed Hajjar.
