The meetings are part of the ACCESS-MENA project activities.
The purpose of the meetings is to make community and religious leaders contribute, participate actively and be more involved in the mobilization of targeted sectors of the society to fight child labor.
General meetings were held in every region. Focus group discussions were formed to discuss and decide on future actions to be taken to make the people around us aware about the working children problem.
The following meetings took place from April to July:
4 April: 1st meeting in Tripoli.
2 May: 2nd meeting in Tripoli.
3 May: 1st meeting in Beirut.
10 May: 1st meeting in Saida.
16 May: 1st meeting in Menyeh (Akkar).
23 May: 2nd meeting in Saida.
9 June: 3rd meeting in Saida .
20 June: 4th meeting in Saida .
12 July: 1st meeting in Beirut.
20 July: 1st meeting in Halba.
30 July: 2nd meeting in Halba.
