The beneficiaries of these workshops were social workers from partners NGOs in all the regions of the ACCESS-MENA project.

The goal of the project was to train the social workers who would be:
1- Implementing the awareness one to one meetings with the employers of the working children.
2- Implementing the awareness sessions for the parents of the working children.

Around 35 social workers from the partner NGOs were present at the 1-day workshop that was held at the Madisson Hotel in Jounieh. The participants were from the North (Tripoli, Akkar and Wadi Khaled), Beirut (Borj Hammoud and Sin el Fil) and from the South (Saida and Nabatieh).

Discussions around the questionnaire that should be filled with the employers of the children took place and a second draft for the questionnaire was edited according to the remarks that were given by the social workers who piloted the questionnaire.

Some participants were from non partner NGOs but worked with RMF on the awareness sessions for parents. An evaluation of the parent's sessions that took place earlier that year was done and afterwards, a discussion with working groups about the implementation of the coming awareness sessions for parents was finalized.
