Summary: |
from January to July 2007, 29 remedial sessions for children took place weekly in various Lebanese regions. Those sessions were held as part of the ACCESS-MENA project. The beneficiaries were children enrolled in schools and at risk of dropping out because of their failing grades; their total number was more than 2000 children. The classes were for the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades. All the children finished their sessions successfully. The villages and cities where the sessions were held covered the regions of Greater Beirut, Mount Lebanon, the North and the South.
