The workshop was held in Beirut as part of the ACCESS-MENA project.

The goal of this workshop was to train the ACCESS Awareness team and social workers from partner NGOs on how to deal with the different cases that we might face during the work with the children.

31 participants from the Awareness team as well as social workers, attended the 3-day workshop. It was animated by Dr. Michael Khoury, Mrs. Maria Maalouf and Dr. Sonia Baramily and Dr. Tania Hovivian.

The topics included the child development stages, adolescent development and issues, the importance of mental health promotion, behavioral problems and disruptive behavioral disorders…
