Excursions for Working Children (ACCESS) |

These excursions are part of the ACCESS-MENA project's activities. The purpose of these trips are to motivate the children and take them to places that are cultural/touristic, educational, new and where they can have fun and develop their psycho-social status. The beneficiaries are all the children enrolled in the AVT, Literacy and Remedial classes part of the ACCESS program. Between 150 and 250 participate in each trip. The places chosen for the children to visit are the Jeita Cave, the Jbeil Citadel and wax museum, Faraya (snow time), Beit el Din and Moussa castle, the cedars forest and the zoo. All the trips included lunch in different fast food restaurants, and the children ended their day in a Luna Park. From 29 March to 29 May, the following 12 trips had taken place: 29 March: Accelerated Vocational Training Center (South). More trips will be taking place regularly. |
