This outing was part of the LEAD program extra curricular activities. It involved the following four schools in the Chouf district:

Al-Mghayrieh Intermediate Mixed School
Mazboud Intermediate Mixed School
The 3rd school in Chheem-English Section
The 1st School in Chheem-French Section

Teachers and school staff were also invited. The number of participants was 173 students and 19 teachers.

The Day
Breakfast and water was distributed for the participants upon departure from each school. The Four buses met at the theatre Athenee, Jounieh, where a play entitled Baytik ya Sitti, was performed. This play served as an educational tool to raise awareness about important issues such as nutrition and the environment.

The LEAD project and its activities were also introduced to the students. Lunch was later served at a restaurant, where the younger children played in the playground and the older ones had a drum and were singing and dancing.

The children went back home happy and looking forward to participate in RMF LEAD activities in the future.
