As part of the LEAD Program, a conference on dental and oral hygiene was carried out at the Rafik Hariri School Complex in Ch’eem, under the patronage of the Mayor of Ch’eem, Mr. Mohamed Mansour, in collaboration with dentists from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ).

The conference, which aimed at raising awareness on dental hygiene among the community, targeted the parents and teachers of 7 public schools located in the Iqlim el-Kharroub area, as well as local community leaders and doctors. More than one hundred person attended the conference.

Dentists from the University of Saint Joseph provided essential information on dental and oral hygiene and tips for prevention. Time was also allocated for a question/answer session.

Similar activities will also be conducted in Akkar, Zgharta and Tripoli.
