As part of the LEAD Program activities, an outing was organized for students from three schools in Tripoli: The Beddawi Intermediate School for Boys, the Wadi El-Nahleh Intermediate Mixed School and the El-Nour Intermediate Mixed School. 103 students participated. After having breakfast bags distributed at school, the trip started with a visit to the unique historic citadel of Jbeil. A guide explained in details about the historical site and ruins, highlighting the importance and role of its Roman stadium. The students then visited the wax museum, located next to the citadel, learning about famous writers and traditional figures of Lebanon. They had a healthy lunch in a restaurant in Batroun, where they played at the playground. |
