A Mega-kermes was organized by RMF under the slogan 'Together we meet to have fun and be happy' at the Belmont Hotel in Ehden, on 22nd and 23rd August 2008. It included a variety of recreational and cultural activities.

The event was inaugurated by Me. Marielle Michel Moawad, who stressed in her opening speech about the need for the youngsters to have such events in which they have fun and learn new things at the same time. Me. Moawad also promised those present that RMF will continue to hold such events like the yearly rally paper, the children’s camp that includes visits to natural and historical places, from which the youngster benefit tremendously.

The festival was attended by a large number of children from the region in addition to Lebanese expatriates and Arab summer visitors. The games and shows included, electronic games, a trampoline, face painting, tattooing, baby foot, general knowledge competitions. Many prizes were distributed, included educational books.

The festival ran for 2 days. On the first day, the magician Dany offered a very exciting magic show. On the second day, the “Cirque du Liban” performed in front of a very large crowd and the event ended with a dancing costume disguise evening in which participants from all ages displayed their chosen disguises.
