The RMF organized a workshop on “Child protection issues” on the 20 and 21 of July 2008 at the Hotel Monroe in Beirut. This workshop, financed by Save the Children - Sweden, aimed at raising awareness on child protection issues and to train a number of field officers on prevention issues in order to enforce them in operating a positive change in teachers and administration’s staff among targeted public schools all over Lebanon. The workshop was attended by around 25 participants, and was directed by Mrs Jihane Abi Chahine who gave an overview about the process of implementation of the project, its objectives and methodology. |
